Since 1989, the Education Endowment Fund (EEF) Scholarship has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mining professionals. The do this by offering;
- financial assistance
- mentorship, and;
- exceptional professional development opportunities.
Australian citizens or permanent residents enrolled in mining-related programs at Australian universities are eligible for the EEF scholarships.

Mentor Program
Scholars are paired with an industry mentor carefully selected to align with their talents, skills, and interests. This mentorship is valued at $5,000.
Annual Stipend
Scholars benefit from substantial financial support, receiving up to $11,000 annually throughout their studies.
Annual Field Trip
Scholars are provided a hands-on experience, by embarking on an all-expenses-paid, week-long intensive field trip to a mineral-rich region.
Comprehensive Support
Scholars are given the resources needed to develop crucial personal and professional skills that are essential for career growth.
Postgraduate Research Scholarships
The EEF postgraduate scholarships are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents who are engaged in postgraduate research within the resources sector.
Annual Stipend
Postgraduate scholars receive significant financial backing of up to $25,000 per annum, with this support potentially extending for up to three years.
